A taxi almost took me out on Fleet Street yesterday

which was odd, as I find taxi's are normally pretty aware. I saw a guy hailing the taxi so was already on my brakes and watching the taxi - he overshot the guy hailing him, and wasn't moving in, nor was he indicating, so I came off the brakes slightly, then he shot straight into the kerb a foot in front of me! To be fair to him, when I banged on the cab he did seem genuinely apologetic so I think he really didn't see me, rather than being an arsehole on purpose.
