I'm not sure where people get this phrase "over-achieved"

Absolute bollocks if you ask me, if you find a level of performance that physically your body can meet, then as long as you are mentally fit then you can reach that level again. Presuming Dammo is as fit as earlier in the season (whos to say all that early season running hasn't added to this lethargy), then it must be a mental thing that is preventing him from getting back to his previous level, maybe scared of injury after his cheek bone fracture, or perhaps his mind is elsewhere with another club. You don't perform well for 3 months and then less well and attribute the previous form to "overperforming", thats the level the guy CAN play at all the time if he's mentally on the ball. Something must have been on his mind for the last few games.
