Several years back there was a German woman at our work who kept using the word 't**t'.
I said, 'Do you know what that actually means?'
Same as 'twit', she says.
When I told her it actually referred to the 'lady bit'. She nearly had a fit.

Moral of the story, tell Delia what it means and record her reaction.
