FAO: frosty, did the story below was truth?
Mathias Svensson is set to leave Norwich City after they were relegated from The Premiership.
The Swedish striker was bitterly disappointed that The Canaries fluffed their big chance to stay up, being hammered 6-0 at Fulham when a win would have kept them in the league.
Svensson now says that he has a clause in his contract which allows him to leave on the cheap if the club are relegated, and it seems as though he will look to depart in the summer.
"I have got one year left on my contract and additionally I have got a clause saying that I can leave cheaply now that we have been relegated," Svensson told Sportbladet.
"It's too early to talk about it, I will have a vacation first."
Svensson offered no excuses for Nigel Worthington's side, saying they deserved to go down after such a bad final day performance.
"We had everything in our own hands, this should not happen.
"But we deserved to go down when we played like this. We lost 6-0, you can't come up with excuses for that."
