Like I said earlier-Robbie Savage, if we went up, I'd love him at Carra for a season!

Gary Megson did that sort of job for us in 1992/93.

Brown filled the side with the old proverbial warhorses-Mike Channon extended his career, won a trophy, great role model (ahem, yes, even if he was putting his bets on 5 mins before kick off!) for the younger players as well.

Look at the job Martin Peters did for us.
Dion more recently.

So yes. Player X would be a midfielder, aged about 32/33, Prem and Euro experience, vocal/a leader, and able to make a mark in the middle of the pitch, the dressing roon and the trainign ground.

Don't have a clue as to who that might be of course-but that sort of player!

Probably Scott Parker-in about 3, 4 years time!
