Carling Cup Semi-Finals. We're unlikely to get there, but if we do...

...the way in which they're being played this year is f**king weird!

"5. In Rounds One, Two, Three, Four and Five the games shall be played on the ground of the first Club drawn unless otherwise mutually arranged and agreed by The Board. In the event of two Clubs agreeing to play on a neutral ground, the Club staging such a match on their ground shall be permitted to charge, as an expense against the receipts of the match, 10 per cent of the gross gate receipts excluding Value Added Tax.

The Semi-Finals shall be played on a two-leg basis, the first leg to be played on the ground of the first Club drawn, and the Final shall be played on a neutral ground to be fixed by the Management Committee. The Management Committee shall have the authority to decide that the Final Tie be played on a Sunday."

So you'd play one match at a ground involving one of the teams, and another at a neutral ground - that's REALLY weird! Don't remember it being like that last season!
