but I think he was taking a bit of a chance keeping E Ward on the pitch for the full 90 minitues.

For those that dont know Ward is on 8 bookings.

10 before next sunday would have meant a 2 game ban.
If he would have been booked today, he would have started the game next week knowing a booking would be a 2 match ban.

Now it doesn't really matter if he picks up a booking against Swansea as its reset to 15 after next sunday.
