If I leave the option on to allow websites to choose their own colours (which of course is what we all want), visited links on here don't change colour. I am not in private browsing mode.

If I take off the option to allow websites to choose their own colours, it does work.

Anything to do with the user agent being different and WOTB not picking up on it ?
