Crap.

Notman had the good fortune to be a very well paid, not particularly good footballer for half a dozen years. Most of us would give our right arms to have had that sort of luck. As it is he had his fair share of my season ticket money for the 3 years he played for my club. Of course he was entitled to that 'cos our manager at the time (wrongly) rated him, but that's all he's getting off me. What about the many promising youth/reserve players that have had to retire over the years through injury, should they get benefit games as well? Where do you draw the line?
