A plug for Kenton here

Near Harrow, plenty of good transport links to Watford and into London. No idea about the rental prices though. It?s quiet, one or two decent pubs. And it has plenty of things that are handy for us, decent schools, a sports club, and other local activities for the kids

Not a fan of central Harrow gets quite lively in the evening, but not as lively as PoW Road though.
