Backing up the backup

One the day the old external hard drive will fail, someone will spill a cup of tea on it, or it will be dropped. It's got a bundle of old stuff on it which is on my PC as well which will also fail. Just making sure.

Carbonite is just on one pc in the house - my one which has plenty of old stuff from other old pc's and the kids laptop which is a pain to administer as I have to do this manually,

The deal is just one computer though. If you are a student or moving around it's really handy as all your stuff is backed up and immediately accessible.

I've also used the iphone application when I've needed to get a document back when I'm not at home. Just log into carbonite and it's all there which is very handy.
