and it's a pity about their consolation goal at the end.
How we didn't get a fourth is a mystery.
It does give a little cause for concern that we don't keep many clean sheets.
However last night's second half was the best performance this season to date.
Our formation with effectively three in midfield means we are always going to struggle against a 442 or 451 line up.
But Fox, Crofts and Surman worked their socks off last night.
Ward and Zak were awsome. Won everything in the air and their tackling and distribution is getting better each week.
Tierney and Martin were solid and it was good to see Martin getting forward as he looks so dangerous.
Wilbraham had a good game. Intelligent, held the ball up well bringing other players into the game. Turned his defender brilliantly for his goal. Hope his confidence is boosted and he can become consistent.
Holt - defenders hate him, don't they? They were nervous when they had the ball and expected a clattering. 'Won' several free kicks and led the line really well.
Wes ran the show. Good to see he didn't go into a shell after the penalty miss.
