no I just checked the team for the game I happened be watching on MotD and it was fairly cursory! So I'm delighted if your more rigorous research has proved me wrong.
Still it would be an interesting research topic for a wet sunday to determine the "casuality" rate of promoted teams' over the course of their premiership season.
