Firstly, I never expected us to be in the position we are and I can only be proud of the team for what they have achieved in such a short space of time.

I have little time for the boo-boys who complain that we should be beating teams like Doncaster and Preston, as there are no easy teams in this league, regardless of their position- both teams did what they needed to do to stop us from playing the way we like to and they should be applauded for their efforts. At the end of the day, we are 4th because we deserve to be and this will hopefully be rewarded with promotion at the end o the season.

This said, I've a right to be angry at Wes and I am bloody furious. When you are given an opportunity like that and you waste it through sheer cockiness, that is unforgivable. I don't know what he was trying to do against QPR but decided he was unlucky and gave him the benefit of the doubt. He has, after all, done a lot for the team this season. But yesterday's effort could be the difference between us making automatic promotion and making the play-offs. In this position, we are entitled to expect more from him. It is such a tight league and we are lucky that so many teams around us lost yesterday. There is no time for showboating when points matter.
