It was 1-1 OK?!

Often on the way back from a match someone will ask me the score. I really hoped no one would bother yesterday as I didn't feel like mentioning it. I considered taking my scarf off to be more anonymous but that somehow seemed disloyal. I didn't feel ashamed of the team, just didn't wan't to dwell on things.

SEVEN PEOPLE stopped to ask me - a record! And several wanted to engage and hear match reports. I guess this proves how tied up in the football club the city is.

(Also, while I'm blubbing a bit. For the same reason that I didn't want to keep thinking about the match, I switched my ipod from Radio Norfolk to shuffle so I wouldn't have to hear Canary Call and the first track it picks - out of the 3478 tracks it could have picked mind you - was Samba de Janeiro).
