In some ways, yes. In others it's typically maddening.
There are a few things that you used to be able to do with one click that now need at least two. Show desktop, for instance - that's now two clicks. On the other hand, new folder is now just the one. If you like to burn disks by adding tracks to a folder until you have the right amount, then you'll be annoyed to find they don't show folder size any more, so you have to select all, right click and properties. Niggles, really.
But it is a lot faster than xp. Oh - another thing. Look up Libraries in Windows 7 in Google. That annoyed me, too - it's not that it's a bad idea, but when you've been doing that sort of thing manually since about W95...... see what you think.
At first i was going to bin it and put XP on, but in the end I stuck with it. Although I have had to finally bin Outlook and go with gmail because there seems to be NO way of getting outlook past my AV and firewall, and I had the feeling that even if i did, they'd just 'improve' outlook again and f**k me up.
