Cap to boot?
Was that some strange piece of footballing merchandising or fashion wear of the time?
When the old cattle market was still opposite Portaloo way back yonder, and I was a young slip of a thing, I had my yella and green bobble hat knicked off my head by some scum cnuts. They thought it was fkin hilarious. As I was only about 6 or 7 at the time, it upset me deeply, and scars me to this day.
