Jsut back from the match . . .
and Wilbraham had a really good game. He held the ball up and laid it off well. Best for us so far.
With Lansbury on the left we seemed a little unbalanced as he doesn't have a left foot. Lappin and Surman give us more balance. Drury doesn't get forward or get much cover from Lansbury.
Quite a few miss-placed passes today giving the ball away, but we really worked hard. Wes our best player with Fox getting his foot in making some good tackles. Ruddy made a crucial save in last minute.
Disappointing not to have won, but a draw was probably fair.
Interesting stat in last week's Sunday Telegraph - us and Leicester have put in the most shots at goal. Pity we haven't scored more.
Given that Martin will be out for a few weeks, perhaps
it is time to play to our strengths: Fox, Crofts, Lansbury and Surman suporting Wes behind Holt.
Elland Road is a poor old ground.
