Wouldn't Surprise Me One Little Bit...

I read a comment from someone yesterday who claimed that the Big Society would create a barrier between the rich and wealthy & "everyone else", much as it did in Victorian times...the difference being, during that time, money filtered down to open hospitals, schools etc, as well as there being philanthropists (Cadbury) who created villages and communities for their workers to live in...

They still sent children up chimneys mind, but you get the drift!

It won't even do that now, as all the things that we strove to open and build at that time, are all set to close!
