Incredibly self-confident keeper with brilliant anticipation, always seemed to get himself into the right position well in advance so rarely had to make flashy eye-catching saves

Loved interacting with the crowd, loved winding up the oppo forwards, taking the piss out of weak efforts. Real showman. I worshipped him as a boy, I thought he was the coolest thing ever.
