Ollie Williams of BBC Sport just made an odd comparison on Twitter:
"Reported combined fee for Carroll and Torres is ?85m. Britain's Olympic team, probably around 500 athletes for 2012, receives ?66m per year."
Surely the combined fee for Carroll and Torres is 50m, since the remaining 35m is part of that ?
