can't disagree with your six 'traits' - i guess from my point of view these posts come across as an "I know better" message, to anyone who doesnt agree with your viewpoint - be it an unrealistic and incoherent 'Pollyanna' or not.

I think the fact is there are a lot of people on here who are in the 'grey area' - they reason on both sides. I have never like the 'black and white' nature of message boards - either you are totally right or totally stupid - but then, that is what makes message boards appealing - the polarised view!

Always makes me wonder if the people who are serial 'lurkers' on here (i know of countless numbers of people who 'read but never post') have the same polarised views as the vocal, posting minority.
