Didn't see Marney today but

I sometimes think people are watching Hughes when they slag him off. He gets stuck in without being reckless unlike Hughes, he can shoot unlike Hughes, he can pass unlike Hughes, he can take corners unlike Hughes, he knows how to cover Safri unlike Hughes, and he covers just as much ground as Hughes.

What is it I'm missing?
