Worthy's tactics today against 10 men . . .

for let Ipswich back into the game.
Half time we were cruisng and should have gone in two goals ahead.
So Worthy takes off our only wide player Marney, brings on Hucks to play him just behind the two strikers. Therefore NO wide men, four in central midfield. Then takes off Lisbie for Brennan who also tucks in, NOT wide and puts Hucks up front with Deano.
Surely one of the best ways to beat 10 men is stretch them but we played into their hands by cramping the game into central midfield.
Defence looks SO much better with Davenport. Doc played well too.
Maybe I should just savour the moment, but I can't help feeling today just papered over the cracks.
