Shackell. Why? He's already been told we're going to build next season's defence around him when Worthy made his comments about having the spine of his team under long contracts. Can't see him wanting to warm the bench at Spurs.

Doherty. He may ask to go. He left Spurs for first team football and still isn't getting it. For what it's worth I'd like to see him paired up with Shacks and see how they do. He's only 24/5ish and has development potential IMO. Wouldn't look to ship him out - we'd lose money on the deal for sure.

Agree re Deano. We'll fight to retain him until Jan, by which point we'll know if we're likely to challenge.
