K?ln's good for drinking...

the city has 12 breweries, all with a big pub in the Altstadt - proper German food to soak up the drink too. No red light district to speak of mind but the Altstadt's good at the weekend - not many tourists either, unless you go at Karneval, in which case it's heaving but a good laugh.
