I was a deal more disquieted by the news that Flem and Hucks were training on their own than by the stories of drugs and shagging that we've read on here lately. The scandal stories are like those that turn up on the web or in the papers whenever a team is underperforming - in all cases they may be true or wildly false, and IMHO it's better that we fans don't know about them - it does us no good.

But if two senior pros are being isolated that suggests, as Tricky says, that they have 'had a word', and that the manager has reacted disturbingly badly. If that's correct, then that's as bad from Nigel as anything that Creo accuses him of, if not a great deal worse.

*This* is something we should be told.
