Busy day so far..... with a few questions answered.........

The Marc Tierney transfer looked a strange one but obviously Lambert has answered that question by letting it be known that S Smith will be moved on.

No suprise that Oli Johnson was loaned out.
The fact he got no playing time in the FA cup suggested it was already a done deal.

Some bad news on Declan Rudd hopefully he wont be out long, doesnt sound too long term and he can probably still do light training while its healing.

On the positive side some encouraging words from Lamberts in todays presser.

He suggested he is looking to bring in one more player and they are currently working on it.

When talking about the left back situation, was also fully aware how lucky he has been that RM hasnt been injured on the right......

On the injury front its pretty encouraging with Hughes back in full training.......
Plus Ward and Surman are close to coming back.

Looks like if we can beat Cardiff we will then have a very strong squad going into the next run of games.

Reading between the lines I have a feeling Lansbury may not extend his loan with us.

Plus the interest in Michael Brown doing the rounds suggests we are looking for maybe a bit more experience and bit less chav to get us promoted.

quoting from the pinkun.
-------------------------------------------------------------
"Midfielder Henri Lansbury is fit to return against Cardiff after missing three league games with a hamstring injury ? the last game of his current loan period from Arsenal, with no news on whether his stay will be extended.

?I?ll decide that ? what I?m going to do with him. Then I?ll chat with Arsenal and I?ll chat with Henri himself,? said Lambert.

Also Interesting comments by Lambert about the Orient game where for the first time he kind of admitted that the speculation surrounding him didn't help the team.
He wasn't 100% blaming the press this time, it was more self reflection on how he could have probably handled things differently.
Expects a much much better atmosphere for the Cardiff game.

A win against Cardiff will set us up for a really exciting 2nd half of the season........
