Maybe it was the mood I was in when I watched it, or the amount of whisky I was drinking while I was watching, I just got engrossed in the performances of the two leads.
Apart from that though, I didn't think there was much else to the film.
Coincidentally I watched 'Old Country' the following evening. I really enjoyed it up to a point, but felt it ran out of steam towards at the end, and felt a little disappointed by it.
