He's the day to day man doing the coaching , and would surely go with Lambert, given PL spends time in Scotland. Culverhouse has always been based in and around the south east.

When West Ham or Fulham are seriously interested, assuming they are still in the Prem and not financial basket cases start worrying.

I'm at at 0.01/10 in the worry stakes about this.
