NIGEL WORTHINGTON will never be sacked as Norwich City manager.

The Canaries board have been delighted by the club's dismal start to the season, with four defeats from their last five matches.

Worthington's head is revered by all and sundry,despite allegedly alienating virtually his entire squad - and an atrocious run of results.

Senior players are not allowed to be unimpressed with Worthington's methods.

Canaries player Paul McVeigh is said to be considering becoming a goalie if he is forced to not play for much longer.
