You can't buy anything without Midi, be careful mind....

alot of home stuff will only have midi out so you will have to buy a midi out/thru converter. If your linking it to a drum/sampler/rack you will have to get a multi thru; It's only about ?20 but it's a pain if your going to play live. As far as a budget one goes it's difficult. Roland/Korg etc will only do rack samples to go with a mother board. FP, if you really just need a keyboard and ALL you want is a Hammond, then I would buy a master controller from M audio or the like (66 keys = on ebay about ?90) and then spend more on the module to get the Hammond sound, like a VK-8M. Yamaha did one too which you can grab for around ?180 these days. Your going to have a problem though trying to play Hammond on any mother keyboard, even semi-weighted will be too heavy, all depends on how good you are and what you want to play.
