The Vivitek is a fantastic machine for the money but...............
If you suffer from Rainbow effect it might show up more because it only has a 3X color wheel.
Rainbow only effects a small minority of people.

Also over the life of the machine the Epson is slightly cheaper to run because of its clamed lamp life of 4000 hours
Most DLP's have a lamp life of 2-3000 hours.
