Yes. He is asking whether it is true or false that our player of the season that year was

also statistically our best player.

I believe he is doing so to lend weight to his argument that Russell Martin, whilst top of the stats for us hasn't been our best player and therefore give greater credence to the well know bon mot "Lies, damn lies and statistics."

Also 96.73% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
