What if Australia finish tomorrow evening on 310-3? They are RIGHT back in the game! Why even give them that sniff? England want to bowl last on the pitch, simple as that. If we declare now we may not. And, as I said, Strauss will be loathed to have his bowlers going all day, particularly with a two and a half hour morning session.
Bat for 90 minutes tomorrow morning add another 100 and comlpetely snuff Australia out. There's still 180 overs in the game - plenty of time even with the odd stoppage.
