Would you replace Worthington with a manager from a League One side...
...whose record in management read: Managed 134 games, won 44, drawn 34 and lost 56? Or a manager who had taken a side that finished seventh in the table the previous year to twelfth in his first year in charge?
'cos that's what Worthington did (had done) with Blackpool before we took him on at Carrow Road - yet he got us promoted. All this talk of 'but who would you get in' is bollocks when you consider that's all Worthington had achieved...yet still took us first to Cardiff and then up to the Premiership.
I'm confident we'd do better than an 'unknown' again though, and reckon the list of applicants we'd get would surprise a lot of people. We're an attractive club to potential applicants - excellent training facilities, a lovely ground, a decent fanbase to work in fron t of and we do have a good squad to mould (plus some transfer funds, should they join pre-transfer window).
