Its Winter...

Ooooh, at least a further half inch of snow (horrors! Call the National Guard!) fell here in Chichester last night.

Result? Pandemonium!

We poor, soft, helpless souls of the South East are being told to "stay indoors", not travel outside, nay, venture one quivering foot onto the doorstep as conditions are "treacherous". Yes, really!
In addition to that, we need to "wrap up warm".

The contradiction is that we are also being told to "keep an eye on our neighbours" -however, as we are being told not to go outside (because of afore-mentioned "treacherous" conditions), I don't quite know how we are meant to keep an eye on the neighbours! Oh dear...

How you must all being doing in drift laden Norfolk, I can't imagine? Dying in your thousands I guess, with roads and railways crumbling before your eyes, and buildings collapsing under the sheer weight of all that snow. Lets hope the UN are soon in-situ to assist-alas, but will they, perhaps they are being told to "stay indoors" as well?

So, how is it? Wolves prowling the Brecks? The Wensum frozen solid? A glacier nudging the Pier at Cromer? Bless you, bless you all. Poor, poor things.....
