The bee in my Ruddy bonnet is this...

He did not 'gift' them that goal, he may have been able to do better but their player was through and had a clear shot on goal which he may have/of saved on another day.

Gifting a goal is when you drop the ball at someone's feet, like Van Der Sar did the other week, or let it trickle in like Greeno in the world cup.

Ruddy did not gift them a goal.

Against Burnley he got a hand to their second, where some keepers may not have/of but got blamed for that by some.

He is perfectly adequate if not good for who and where we are both in terms of league position and financially.

Forster was great, but he was generally up against lesser strikers, and you therefore can't compare like for like.

We should support the lad, he is good on crosses and at kicking and makes some good saves. Like the acrobatic tip over yesterday which stopped us from going 2-0 down which may of/have been difficult to come back from. He got us the point at Reading with some great saves, he won us the game vs Swansea with the penalty save.

If you are a keeper and the forward strikes the ball hard in the corner you have to just react, sometimes you get enough of a hand on it, sometimes you don't, he didn't let it under his body from what I could make out.

Get off his back normals and behind what is a young keeper, he will get better.

ILWT.

Or don't we?

I'm saying no more on the matter as you've all disappointed me greatly.

I'm off round the mother-in-laws.
