Tell you what I found really interesting recently (in terms of physio, and injury science)
was how Ferguson say Rooney would be injured for longer, because he'd been away for 2 weeks or so on holiday (meaning the physio sessions slowed his progress)
What I find so advanced about that in general, is how modern treatments speed up rapidly, something, that has/should have a natural recovery of it's own
It's kind of confirmed something I always thought, that when you see a player who's "fit" to play, it obviously doesn't mean they're not injured
It's sometimes baffled me watching players run around for 90 minutes, then an hour after the game, they're limping around like they've got a long term injury
You sometimes see it live. Nani after the Spurs game, walked off the pitch at OT visibly limping. Used to see Beckham do it a lot
It has to be harder than just taking some strong painkillers to play over something that's physically real, surely?
