feyenoord website taken offline
In the aftermath of Feyenoord's crushing 10-0 defeat at PSV Eindhoven on Sunday afternoon, the club's website was taken offline.
The Rotterdam side's official web page was replaced with an image of the club logo and a brief message, in Dutch and English, that ran:
"At this moment we are busy with the maintenance of this page. We hope to be available again as soon as possible. Our apologies for the inconvenience."
However, after just a brief period with this message, the entire site was seemingly removed, being replaced with an error message.
Meanwhile PSV Eindhoven's site was up and running, and led with the words of coach Fred Rutten.
"I'm extremely proud of this PSV," he said.
