I didn't think we were poor in the second half

Obviously some defensive weakness (2 players unavailable) and a bit hectic near the end as things got desperate, but overall we played well.

I think you can overplay the booing, there wasn't that much and most of it was just disappointment rather than angry. Some guy behind me gave a boo on the final whistle, but in the end was clapping the players of the pitch.
