Who knows out of everyone else who will stay or go. We will just have to say. Personally, Francis was crap yesterday and on that performance I would rather get rid of him for ?3m (remember he's under a long contract with us so if someone wnats him and he wants his move, it will have to be for big bucks).

Our CM will need a total overhall for next yr, with only Safri being a likely one to survive, along with Hucks on LW. Just quickly throwing a few names in, I would like to see perhaps Sidwell of Reading (if they don't go up) and perhaps Ifill of Millwall or Tonge of Sheff Utd or Commons of Notts F. 2 of those would be good (and 2 is minimum we will need).

Defensively, I think someone like Darren Ward would now come into the equation. We need 2/3 more tougher, battling types like him. At this rate, we're gonna be far to friendly to play against next year. I would seriously look to get Helveg out - get him back to Denamark, he's ok but just not good enough - he is skilfull and knows the game but needs FAR too much time on the ball. He will get even less in the fizzy league! I think we therefore need to get a new RB. I wouldn't discard Flem at this time though, cos we still need experience and he IS still good enough for the fizzy, as he proved it last yr - Prem is a different matter but we need some continuity next year, its no good making sweeping changes cos otherwise the just won't gel quick enough, so Flem is a must to stay.

GK we will just have to see. Hopefully Greeno stays, but if he goes than we will just have to get a new GK. Although I've not seen him, I get the impression Gallacher is down the pecking order and could even leave to Sheff Weds if they go up thru the play offs for a nominal sum (we got him on a free anyway). We've been linked to the Rochdale keeper so who knows there.

So I predict of the big guns to leave, Francis and Greeno only, with Helveg leaving also. We need CB, RB, CMx2, perhaps even a RW (although Jonson might come good in the fizzy but we can't rely just on him).

One final thing that I don't think I've seen mentioned on here yet is one big advantage us, Palace and So'ton will all have next year and this the Transfer Window. It comes into the fizzy next yr and they will not be used to it but we will be. Remember that a lot of clubs rely on loans (as we did last season), but they will not be able to do any of that outside the window (can't afford it for one thing).
