There's a lot right in that there ^^^^^^

I've never been sure that letting him go was the mistake, i'd watch him leave our LB hopelessley exposed many times that season without carrying the threat that tamed their fullback in previous seasons, and us having a 'holt' to help fill the gap he leaves.

The mistake was, clearly, the manner he let him go. It showed a real lack of understanding of the fans, and respect to a massively popular player.

Its possible for the action to be understandable but the manner to be wrong.
