It became apparent last year that the Canaries defence was not adequate (for Premiership only?)
I never did understand the Malky Mackay thing?
Fleming and Drury are not premiership defenders Shackell needs a couple of seasons to find his way.
You must build your team from the back, clean sheets are essential. The top mgmt. team made a serious mistake, particularly in the centre of defence and there must be plans to remedy that promptly.
As a supporter since 68 the team was always built on solid central defenders, Duncan Forbes,etc.
We need to get that right going forward
