Hardly breaking news on the higher crowds vs Barnsley, from memory
06/07 was August Bank Holiday at home – I would expect a good crowd. Remember the game well, Carl Bobins scored a cracker, and we stayed in Cromer after the game as Mum had rented a huge holiday home for all the family.
08/09 was Gunny’s first game in charge having been freed from the Rodent and bumper crowd expected.
And the lower crowd –
07/08 was the on 23rd Feb. I know this as I have the match day team sheet pinned up on my desk divide as we had lunch in the Gunn Club with the people that did our train tickets. I also think it was one of the long distance supporter fixtures and City would have picked the game as it was a low demand for tickets fixture.
And one more uninteresting fact - of the 16 in the match day squad that the only one still at Norwich is Darren Huckerby.
