On my way to Moggies just now I passed a very rough-looking wedding party

that was coming out of the church. The entire group appeared to be made up of bouncers and blonde women with cleavages. There were plenty of broken noses among the males and not much room in the clothing of either sex. I tried not to look at the cleavages as I was stopped at some lights and didn't much fancy being dragged out of my car and kerb-stomped.

This put me in the mind of the time, back in the 80s, when a social club that I was part of had booked a small hall. We were assembled in the car park, waiting for the previous booking to vacate said hall, and had glanced through the windows and seen it was a wedding reception. One of my mates said "Oh s**t, it's the [two well-known local families, names witheld], I hope it doesn't go off".

We waited a while and then the bride came out, with a nosebleed, closely followed by a mother-under-physical-restraint-and-swearing-a-lot-and-loudly, and then a procession of people in bad suits shoving each other a bit. We snuck into the hall just as everything 'went off' in the car park. Police cars arrived a little later.

That wasn't Rhyl, mind, it was Prestatyn. So: in what areas in Norfolk might such entertainments be fairly commonplace, then? This Larkman thing I've read about? Do tell?
