Think it's the Twitter API at fault.

You can go to your mate's twitter page and see his t**ts, clearly containing #ncfc, but if you search for #ncfc on twitter.com they don't appear.

Tweetdeck does sometimes have a benny, but I think it's Twitter this time instead.
