Thoughts on today
Swansea do pass it better than any other championship team I can remember BUT how many chances did they create? I can remember Sinclair dribbling through and Ruddy saving 1 on 1. and the pen. Did they have any other chances? I think they have strikers injured which may make them better.
Good ref got most right, was a pen but a lot of morons like d'urso would have automatically given a red.
We were pretty disciplined but inevitably the front players can't keep chasing as they pass endlessly along the back 4 so we end up getting deeper and deeper. I though Russel Martin had a decent game particularly 1st half, more difficult when they got the ball to sinclair quicker and in more space.
Holt was completely knackered last 25 mins perhaps Lambert is trying to play him fit.
Good Ruddy, Jackson and Ward won the less generous fans over.
Shame on the fans knocking Hoolihnan, he is one of those players who tries something different, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.
Onwards and upwards.
