No, not odd in the slightest. On a really clear night, with no city glow you can see them
every few minutes.
What you see aren't actually all functioning real statellites, a lot of them are just the junk and detritus of space missions etc and so on, all the s**t that they've left up there.
But there's more actual statellites up there than you'd think - I saw an informational video of it once, about the proliferation of orbiting s**t - very interesting, if you like that sort of this what I do.
