He built 2 great teams with ARsenal, both won trophys, he broke the second team up to quickly and has not won anything since. In effect, after winning their last trophy Arsenal have in fact got backwards.

He has failed to find a decent goalkeeper in this period as well as struggling to identify a commanding centre back. He has let players go to early due to his ageism policy but has persisted with lightweight members of the team just because he will not admit he was wrong.
